Most students arrive on campus excited. Few arrive with a strategy for turning that excitement into internships, job offers, and grad school admissions.
College opens doors — alumni networks, employer events, student organizations, professors, campus resources, and so much more. But access alone doesn't produce results. Strategy does.
Students can do everything right — earn strong grades, stay involved, network — and still graduate with no direction and nothing that sets them apart. Not because they didn't work hard. Because nobody taught them how to think strategically about which opportunities are worth pursuing, how experiences compound over time, and how to tell their story clearly and confidently.
That gap is expensive. For students. And for institutions.
I know because I lived it. As a first-gen college student, I had access to plenty of opportunities and no framework for which ones actually mattered. What I needed wasn't more information — it was a strategy.
Now I help students build theirs so they can land their target outcomes.
