Hi, I’m Lasse.

I’ve led career readiness workshops at 40+ colleges and universities and helped more than 5,000 students build practical college strategies that lead to real outcomes — including internships, full-time job offers, and graduate school admissions.

My work sits at the intersection of higher education, career strategy, and execution. I partner with universities, educators, and families to help students make intentional decisions about how they use their time, opportunities, and resources in college.

College isn’t about access — it’s about strategy

College gives students access to incredible opportunities: alumni networks, employer events, student organizations, professors, campus resources, and more.

But access alone doesn’t produce results.

The real challenge is knowing which opportunities actually move you closer to your goals — and how to leverage them once you choose a direction. Without a strategy, students stay busy but don’t build momentum.

As a first-generation college student in the U.S., I faced the same problem many students face today: I wanted to make the most of college, but I didn’t know which actions truly mattered.

What I needed wasn’t more information — it was a strategy.

What The Strategic Student actually does

The Strategic Student helps students approach college intentionally — through high-impact workshops, personalized coaching, and practical tools that turn effort into real outcomes.

I partner with colleges and universities to deliver interactive, strategy-driven workshops, work directly with students and families through 1:1 coaching, and share ongoing guidance through my newsletter and LinkedIn to help students make each semester count.

No matter where you are — preparing for college, exploring majors, or navigating the internship and job search — my goal is to help you approach college with clarity, confidence, and a plan that actually works.
